1.there are some makes them different because even they are both solid they are different kinds of solids..specially ball because it has a gas on it.

2.They are both solid

3.It can help us because it has both in our house, environment and other places.

4.Yes. because if we dont know the matter , maybe our work in the environment will be wrong for example you are going to hospital the you can see a person with a solid but you dont know what it was..the person will die..because the solid you see has a gas( oxygen) on it..
