it affects our mood in such way that when we are lonely, music can help us ease our loneliness or we tend to be more lonely or depress when we hear sad music. Inspirational songs or religious songs can inspire us to be more closer to God or to be more determine to become better person, etc.,
Music is a sound that affects our emotion, our mood, it can inspire us or depress us, it can uplift our spirit or make us more sad, it can ease our loneliness or help us unburden our pent-up emotions. The effect may be temporary or life inspiring, depending on the situation  and on our perpective of things that we can relate our life story to music and lyrics of the songs.
