She believed that her great works are her own, she forgot that there is someone who is the source of all these skills. People had praised her for her great works that made her think she is the best. She even come to a point of challenging Athena in order to find out who is better. Instead of grateful for her talent and skills she acted proudly in front of the source of her gift.
