People who takes advantage of the Internet, violates the cyber crime law. They think that taking advantage of the Internet, or cyber crime is a "profession" or a business. The cybercrime prevention act of 2012 or Republic Act No. 10175, is responsible for cyber crime, like cybersquatting, cybersex, child pornography, identity theft, illegal access or hacking to data and libel. It criminalizes computer crimes, that really violates an individual's human rights. 

In order in not to be a victim of cyber criminals, properly use the internet. In order not to be hacked by someone else, change your password every time in social networking sites, so that hackers may find it difficult to hack you if every time you change your password or make your password very very complicated. Do not also post too much information about you on social networking sites, maybe one day that you wake up in the morning, criminals or cyber criminals get to your house and stolen things to your house. Many people posts or writes too much information or even personal information about them, like address and schedules. Beware of posting address and schedule, it is a perfect combination for cyber criminals. For example, you posted on facebook that you are about to leave in a specific date, and time, and then later on someone asks you your address. Thrilling, right? Then when you are back at home, something's missing. Do not also have cybersex, and learn how to prevent cybersquatters. Also secure your computer, activate firewalls, they are first liner of cyber defense, use anti-virus or malware software, and also block spyware attacks. Also make sure that your social networking profiles are set to private. Also avoid being scammed, internet is the most effective way to scam, because the scammer can be "anonymous"

It is really hard to stop people on taking advantage using the internet or doing bad things using the internet, but we can protect ourselves against them, and we should not also take advantage to the internet, and imitate them.
