Thyroid gland is located in the base of our neck,it releases hormones which control the metabolism while parathyroid gland is located at the back of the thyroid gland, it maintains the body calcium and phosphate levels.

Thyroid Gland located below the voice box it secretes calcitonin and thyroxin which regulates body metabolisms, while parathyroid (dorsal aspects of thyroid gland ) located in the neck it secretes parathyromone hormones which controls the calcium level and bone growth.
