suppose the girl ate too many such as candies chocolates. how will the hormones (insulin) from her pancreas help her body to cope when her blood rise above normal

Sagot :

The body has a mechanism called "Homeostasis". It can either increase the amount of stimulation (positive feedback) or lower the amount of stimulation (negative feedback). In this case, the body will have a negative feedback, stimulating the pancreas to produce insulin to prevent hyperglycemia. Insulin will regulate the amount of  glucose (blood sugar) by promoting its absorption to the skeletal muscle to lessen the blood sugar level that is present in the bloodstream. Also insulin will restrain the liver from producing glucose.
