Cultural diffusion is the process by which cultural beliefs, practices, ideas, technology, and other items are exchanged between individuals in two countries. This happens when people from different cultures meet and integrate, thus borrowing and incorporating each other’s cultural characteristics. Some examples of cultural diffusion include.

1. Food: Because our country here in the Philippines was colonized by three countries. For example, it might bring foods from Spain, such as Filipino adobo. We did barter with Chinese before the Spanish colonized us; the products that they are selling here, like shomai, are considered trading we called it "barter".

2. Language: shifts in global linguistic trends such as borrowing English words like the term "cool." In Filipino also, during Spanish colonization, there are some words that are the same, after they colonize us. At times, those words merged, transitioned, or were transferred from one generation to another.

3. Fashion: The suits and tuxedos that are worn in this country today were popularized by the Americans after colonizing our country.

4. Technology: The general internationalization of the use of smartphones from the United States of America to other countries of the world.

5. Dance: that particular aspect of Filipino tinikling, with regards to Spanish influence on folk dance.

These examples help show how the process of cultural diffusion is effective in altering the course of societies as they adapt their practices to reflect otherwise foreign concepts from other communities.
