What is the difference between a enzyme and an catalyst?

Sagot :

Manel
Catalysts are substances that increased/ alter the rates of reaction but are not consumed in the overall reaction, therefore do not appear as reactant or product in the chemical equation (examples are metals, ions, acids, bases) while Enzymes are catalysts inside our body that do amazing tasks like converting food we eat into energy, repairing cells, etc.

Hope I have helped you :)
