Instruction: Design a Panolong using the materials listed below

1. Clay

2. Toilet paper cote

3. Used illustration board or cardboard

Procedures:

1. First, draw an outline of Panolong on a 1/8 illustration board or cardboard. This will

be the base and support for your artwork

2. Second, put enough clay on the board. Tap and spread the clay gently until you

cover the entire area inside the drawn outline

3. Next, use a toilet paper core to roll on the clay surface gently. It will flatten and

even out the clay

4. Then, carve your Okir design on the clay as detailed as possible using a pencil,

old pen or pen cap's tail. You can also use it to remove excess clay and to add

defined curves and edges

5. Smoothen the edges and surfaces when you're done carving out the

details

6. Finally, color your Panolong with poster or acrylic paint to bring out more detail
