A. Common Colds
1. Wash your hands often. Washing your hands for at least 20 seconds can help protect you from getting sick
2. Use disposable items if a family member is infected
B. Measles
1. You can avoid catching measles by having the measles, mumps and rubella (MMR) vaccine.
2. Getting Vaccinated by MMR vaccine. ( the best way to avoid or to prevent measles is to get vaccinated by MMR vaccine.)
C. Chickenpox
1. get the chickenpox vaccine.
2. Avoid those people who are infected by chickenpox.
D. Influenza
1. clean your hands / cover your mouth and nose
2. Avoid close contact. Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
E. Tapeworms
1. Wash your hands with soap and water before eating or handling food and after using the toilet
2. When traveling in areas where tapeworm is more common, wash and cook all fruits and vegetables with safe water before eating.
