The ovaries are two little organs, they are appended to the uterus, one on each side, close to the launch of the fallopian tube. The ovaries contains female gamete cell, which called the oocyte.

Ovaries are solid, ovoid design about the size and state of an almond, around 2 cm wide, 1 cm thick and 3.5 cm in length. The ovaries are situated in shallow dejections, called ovarian fossae, one on each side of the uterus, in the sidelong dividers of the pelvic cavity.
