1. Conduction occurs in solid and liquids
Conduction is the process by which heat energy is transmitted through collisions between neighboring atoms or molecules.
Examples of conduction is heating a pan on a stove.
2. Convection occurs in fluids (liquid and gases)
Convection- the movement caused within a fluid by the tendency of hotter and therefore less dense material to rise, and colder, denser material to sink under the influence of gravity, which consequently results in transfer of heat.
Examples of convection are a radiator puts warm air out at the top and draws in cooler air at the bottom.
3. Radiation can occur through a region of space that is a void of matter.
Radiation is energy that comes from a source and travels through space at the speed of light.
Example of a radiation is the ultraviolet light from the sun.
hope this helped you :)
