As for now, when we think of our future jobs we think of a bright and applicable future. But, come to see for it in the future, we would feel very different from what we are thinking right now. Maybe in the future our future self is thinking "Ha, this is quite different from what I had thought of before" and many more.
For me, seeing my mom work exactly 8-10 hours a day is very tiring for me to look at, but at her vision she still needs to do it for us, and for our future. Late submissions, and other stuff she needs to do even though it's always a repeating task, she doesn't really complain, since she will transfer to a new government office.
I once asked her, "Mom is it important to follow rules?" and she said, "Anak, pag nagtratrabho ay kailangan mong sundin ang boss mo, kahit gaanong hirap, kailangan mo itong sundin. Pero dapat, yung sapat lang. Hindi yung sumusobra sa pasensya at konsensya mo."
And there I knew, that even though how clean your record is, you still need to make every move look neat and tidy. Because of what you have learned in your house is what you'll express outside.
